Earlier this year, I spent six weeks in Cambodia. I was there to teach photography on a Fulbright Scholarship, but also had plenty of free time to shoot on my own. The first event I photographed was a wedding--pretty ironic for a wedding photographer on vacation!

I’m a child of Baltimore with the sea in my blood. My great grandfather was a shipwright, my grandfather was in the Navy in World War II, and I sail keelboats on the bay whenever I get the chance. In addition, a few of my cousins and other family members spent time serving in the Navy.
Jason and Mackenzie had an intimate winter wedding at the Woodberry Kitchen in Baltimore, surrounded by close friends and family-- and fueled by some of the best food and most delicious cocktails in the country!

I pride myself on being unobtrusive when photographing weddings, but some venues would have me stay in one spot and never move during the ceremony. When this happens, I try to bend the rules as far as possible, because the
Carrie and Keith's wedding was the third I have done at the Maryland Club, and it was another great one. The staff at the Maryland Club was wonderful, the music and food were outstanding, and most importantly Carrie and Keith are just the kind of super-cool, down-to-earth couple I love to
