After a couple of recents shoots in Colombia for Bloomberg News, I now know a lot more about what is involved in fueling my car and waking up my body.
My first shoot took me to Ecopetrol’s refinery in Barrancabermeja, a fascinating place to visit (and a great place for a fashion shoot!)

Last Saturday, rather than hunting for my subjects I let them come to me. I set up a 10x10 natural light studio smack in the middle of HampdenFest and grabbed interesting characters as they strolled by. A few samples from a great day of shooting available below with many more on my gallery
