As a photojournalist, I am trained to look for emotion when I'm shooting. When I see it, my hand immediately reaches for my camera and I start running towards the action!
Well, at Tracie and Ted's wedding I was doing a lot of running. Folks were crying tears of joy before, during and after the ceremony. Huge happy laughs, long crushing hugs, lingering loving glances... The emotion was so intense and so real I started getting a little verklempt!
But of course, this all led to great photos, and I left at the end of the evening with a smile on face, and feeling a little bit better about humanity. So thank you guys for that!
Both the ceremony and reception were at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club, with music by the Junkyard Saints --followed by a surprise visit from Ted's band (with him on drums!)
