Hora at bar mitzvah at Baltimore Conservatory

Ben's Bar Mitzvah was a unique event, perfectly tailored to a special young man. Ben has a serious interest in botany, and the first time I met him he gifted me a Buddha's Hand-- a crazy looking lemony fruit which he had grown in his own garden. I was impressed!  Befitting his interest in plants, his parents decided to hold his party at the Baltimore Rawlings Conservatory. They held scavenger hunts under the palms, sipped cocktails by the orchids and ate dessert by the cacti. Even for a veteran event photographer like myself, it was really cool. The night ended with another gift from Ben in the form of two lovely orchids.  Happy to say, they're still very much alive and well!

A few photos from a great party below, as well as a taste of the portraits we shot at Baltimore Hebrew Congregation before the service. Special thanks to Tally and Heidi from Innovative Party Planners, Jeff  (the dancing DJ from Electra Entertainment), and Christina from Art With A Heart.
