wedding couple portraits in annapolis near the courthouse

Alex and Sarah wanted a small wedding. How small? Let's put it this way- I was the only guest!

But big things come in small pacakges, and there was a lot of love bottled up in a small room in the Anne Arundel County Courthouse a few Fridays ago. I felt honored to be there to witness it.

Alex and Sarah were first in line at the courthouse at 10am, and by about 1010am we were standing outside and they were husband and wife. So we spent the next hour or so wandering around downtown Annapolis taking photos, and I did my best to play tour guide when I learned that they are from out of state. It went something like this: "Um, that's the statehouse. It's really old. And you can buy shoes there, the Navy guys throw their hats in the air over there, and those are some boats...."

Some photos from a fun morning shoot below.  And thanks to my old friend Nikki Verdeccia from NV Salon in Hampden for sending these guys my way!
