I spent much of this week around people much braver and with much better posture than me. On Saturday, I photographed D’Arcy and John’s wedding at the Fort Myer Old Post Chapel with a reception at the Fort McNair Officer’s Club. Both D’Arcy and John are in the military, as are most of their friends, D’Arcy’s dad is a general, you get the picture. A few days later I found myself photographing young veterans parading through Manhattan while working for one of my favorite clients, the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America. Needless to say, I feel very fortunate to have a job that let’s me hang out with such a great group of people. Serious as the job of the military is though, these folks still know how to cut loose—- as evidenced in the photo studio video!
