The work of Baltimore wedding photographer Dennis Drenner has been shaped by 20 years shooting for the nation’s most respected newspapers and magazines – and toughest photo editors. At places like the Washington Post, Dennis formed his unobtrusive style of photography which eschews staged photos and emphasizes instead the real moments which stand the test of time. His wedding photographs have won accolades in photo contests by Brides Magazine, the WPJA, and the ISPWP, and he has been a favorite of brides in both the Knot and WeddingWire annual surveys. Check out his Wedding Wire reviews here.
When he’s not photographing weddings in Baltimore and the surrounding areas, Dennis is a sought-after family portrait and child photographer, working both in his downtown Baltimore photo studio and on location. His easy-going and unscripted approach to portraiture is both fun for his adult clients and well-suited to the ever-changing moods and interests of small children. In 2011, Dennis was selected to do the official Holiday portrait of Vice President Joe Biden and family.

Included here are local and destination weddings, engagement portrait sessions, editorial and portrait photography and images and videos from the mini photo-studio. There are also listings of the many Washington, DC and Baltimore wedding venues where he has worked, recommendations for some of his favorite wedding vendors, as well as a few random bits like tales from his paragliding missions over central China and links to his music video.
